GAP Family Blog welcomes Lynda Burch, owner and publisher of Guardian Angel Kids Ezine.
Thank you for visiting with us, Lynda. Can you tell us what Guardian Angel Kids Ezine is, please?
Lynda: The monthly
ezine is a way for kids to experience a hands-on computer interactive magazine
to read, learn, and play games.
What was your inspiration behind the magazine?
Lynda: My
granddaughter at two could play online games on nationally recognized sites, but
could have twenty or more pop-up ads get in the way of the fun. I thought that they don’t
need that interference of companies trying to sell them products. They just want to play
the games. So I wanted to provide that venue and also provide a site for our books,
characters, authors, and artists to be shared with an audience.
What makes GAK appeal to kids?
Lynda: Playing the
games, reading the stories and poems, watching the videos, doing the
activities, and interacting are great ways to entertain kids.
What makes GAK appeal to their parents?
Lynda: It is
educational. It offers free entertainment. It is ecologically sound—no trees
destroyed here. There are even parent/teacher
articles.
Is there anything else you would like to share with us about
Guardian Angel Kids?
Lynda: I hope that
kids and parents take advantage of this free tool for fun and learning.
Readers: be sure to visit the electronic magazine’s site often for fun, safe, interactive, and always free entertainment for your children. The brand new May 2012 issue, Proud to be an American, is available now!

Terrific interview! Those pop-ups are very annoying and I'm pleased our magazine does not allow them.
I agree with Donna.
Thanks Kai and Lynda. I love the idea of non-stop fun minus the annoying pop-ups!
I continue to be impressed with what I read at Guardian Angel...more and more I see this is a good place. Your ideas are inventive and supportive of kids. Brilliant!
Very nice interview. No one, especially kids, should have to watch those pop ups. You're so right.
Thank you everyone! I love that GAP is a safe place for children.
Thanks to Lynda and all the writers whose work is in this great issue.
Great interview! Lynda and GAK rock!
Great interview Lynda. I learned more about GAK. I will send a link to my daughter, so my two granddaughters can enjoy the fun.
