Margot Finke is an Aussie transplant who writes midgrade adventure fiction and rhyming picture books. For many years she has lived in Oregon with her husband and family. Kathy Stemke has a passion for writing, the arts and all things creative. Kristen Zajac was inspired to write Ebeneezer's Cousin in tribute to the courageous military families she met and worked with at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Florida. Before becoming an author, Kristen worked at United States Central Command, MacDill AFB, as an Associate for Booz Allen Hamilton, writing threat assessments for deployed service members. Prior to that, Kristen worked at FBI Headquarters in Washington D.C. as an analyst in the Counterterrorism Division. She was awarded a 1997 Presidential Management Fellowship in Washington, D.C. by the Office of Personnel Management. Kristen earned a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Stetson University. After having been an elementary school teacher, a management consultant with New Options, Inc. in New York City and a university professor of education, Nancy now writes children’s books full time. She, her husband and three sons, lived in London for eight years where she was a consultant to several universities, including Cambridge.

Nancy travels extensively throughout the world, most particularly Africa. She is the US chair of a charity in Lamu, Kenya, that places girls in intermediate schools to allow them to further their education.

Nancy Carty Lepri is a North Carolina transplant born and raised in Massachusetts. She married Art Lepri in September 1971 and gave birth to daughter Danielle in 1973. She has lived in FL, LA, and Cape Cod, MA before relocating to NC in 1995.

Kit Grady has always loved to draw. One of her earliest projects was a drawing in big black crayon of a life-sized playmate on the outside of her parent's brick house. She drew a jump rope in one of the playmate's hands that circled around the house, connecting at the other hand. She learned quickly what drawing paper was for. She continued her passion studying art at Virginia Commonwealth University and later studied under Caldecott winners Uri Shulevitz and Gale Haley.

Kit is best known for her bright colors and expressive animals.

As author and illustrator, she gave her own pup a stage in "Jiggsy's Necklace" by Windswept House Publishers.

Introducing Kristen and Kevin Collier, authors of"Dreamchaser," a new Tween Chapbook published by Guardian Angel Publishing. It is Kristen's first GAP title.
The 64-page paperback tells the story of a youth torn between his dream of becoming a basketball superstar and the value of staying in school for an education. The two were married on February 26, 2007.

Kevin joined GAP in the fall of 2005 when publisher Lynda Burch was seeking an illustrator. Collier's written works were also accepted along with his illustration services. Kristen Collier, formerly Kristen Halter, is the author of "King of Glory," a critically acclaimed Christian novel released in 2005. Kristen is also a columnist for several newspapers and feature writer for The Chronicle of the Horse magazine. She and her husband, Kevin Scott Collier, are represented by the Hartline Literary Agency.

Kevin is the author of other many children's books, including"barthpenn@heaven.org" and "Esther's Channel." He also has illustrated over 40 children's books, including "Topsy Turvy Land," written by Donna J. Shepherd, which World Magazine (Dec. 6, 2006 issue) voted one ofthe top 50 children's picture books of all time.

Susan J Berger is a writer and an actress. She’s performs in a lot of live theatre including the Broadway production of the musical "The Robber Bridegroom" and the National tour of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.” Her TV appearances include M*A*S*H and Hannah Montana. She got her first series in 2009 - Warren the Ape for MTV .

Susan has three books published by GAP. JAMIE’S DREAM is written by Susan and her son Christopher Corbin and illustrated by Kim Sponaugle. EARTHQUAKE! is a non fiction book for grade 2-4, illustrated by Eugene Ruble and produced by Lynda Burch. Earthquake won an Honorable mention in the 2008 Green Book awards.
