Dirt and Worms by J. Aday Kennedy
Run to your local store and pick up a plastic pail and shovel off the clearance rack or buy one from the dollar store. We are going to have a little fun in the kitchen.
Grab your kids and tell them you are going to make mud, dirt and worms for dessert. How? It is simple.
MUD = Make a batch of chocolate pudding and pour it in your pail.
DIRT = Take chocolate graham crackers or cookies and put them in a baggy that zips closed. Remove all of the air. Crush them with a rolling pin. Sprinkle the crumbs over the top of the mud (approx. ½ inch)
WORMS = Find candy worms and pepper the top of your pail. Partially bury them in the dirt and mud.

Terrific! I was laughing out loud. Great idea for Halloween!
How fun! I'll have to share that with my daughter for the grandsons. They'll love it!
Sounds gross. Kids will love it!
Wonderful, Jessica. Hey, maybe you could serve it with one of my rattlesnake recipes from "Gran's Kitchen" - for Rattlesnake Jam!

Hehehe! Great fun!! The new book looks delightful!!!
This is a great recipe for kids. This would be fun for Halloween parties. Put it in a cake pan and make it into a fresh dug grave with a headstone.
You're not going to believe this, but they actually serve this at TGI Friday's! The kids took it home and I was suitably grossed out.
I never thought about making it at home. Thanks! I do believe a Halloween version is in order. :)
Little boys love it at birthday parties. If you use cups, you can make each kid their own serving. I didn't know TGI Fridays did it. When my nephew was 4 we served it instead of cake.
