I was born in Buffalo, NY and now live in Los Angeles, CA. I went to 22 schools and lived in Paris, Capetown, London, Rome, Canada, Cuba and sixteen of the fifty US States.

I am a writer and an actress. I have done a lot of live theatre including one musical, "The Robber Bridegroom" on Broadway. I have also done movies and TV. I audition whenever I have the chance.

Jamie's Dream is my first published book. My second book, "Earthquake" will be published by Guardian Angel Publishing in 2008. I just signed to do my third book with Guardian Angel, This one is a rhyming picture book tentatively called "Oh, The Things That I'll Do"

I am working on a mid grade chapter book called "Tasha The Magnificent"

I have a number of children. (two of them are birth sons) and 4 grandchildren. I think life is a wonderful adventure.

Introducing Kristen and Kevin Collier, authors of"Dreamchaser," a new Tween Chapbook published by Guardian Angel Publishing. It is Kristen's first GAP title.
The 64-page paperback tells the story of a youth torn between his dream of becoming a basketball superstar and the value of staying in school for an education. The two were married on February 26, 2007.

Kevin joined GAP in the fall of 2005 when publisher Lynda Burch was seeking an illustrator. Collier's written works were also accepted along with his illustration services. Kristen Collier, formerly Kristen Halter, is the author of "King of Glory," a critically acclaimed Christian novel released in 2005. Jennifer Gladen has written stories, articles poems and a picture book for children. She has had her articles and stories appear in Stories for Children Magazine, with future articles to appear in Once Upon a Time. She is thrilled with the news that her first e-picture book, A Star in the Night, will be published this summer by Guardian Angel Publishing. Kit Grady has always loved to draw. One of her earliest projects was a drawing in big black crayon of a life-sized playmate on the outside of her parent's brick house. She drew a jump rope in one of the playmate's hands that circled around the house, connecting at the other hand. She learned quickly what drawing paper was for. She continued her passion studying art at Virginia Commonwealth University and later studied under Caldecott winners Uri Shulevitz and Gale Haley.
Kit is best known for her bright colors and expressive animals.
As author and illustrator, she gave her own pup a stage in "Jiggsy's Necklace" by Windswept House Publishers.
Kaeden Books has published her book, "Just One More, Mom" as part of their early reading program She has illustrated a new book by Mel McIntyre, "Flutter Bunnies", with Guardian Angel Publishers, due out soon.

Three of my poems have won top honors in the annual Springfield, Missouri Writers Guild Contest. My Hispanic Christmas story, The Lost Shepherd Boy, received Special Mention in the 2006 Society of Southwestern Authors Writing Contest. My most recent Christmas story, Christmas Treasures, earned first runner-up in the 2007 Springfield Writers Contest.

Born in Kansas, I've moved around the Midwest a fair amount and now live in the St. Louis area with my husband, 2 cats, and 1 puppy. Our two grown sons live nearby. I enjoy dancing, hiking, yoga and tennis-and, of course, reading!
